Honestly I have no idea what kind of ring they are talking about or how to properly use it. Please someone break this down for me and include a picture of it if possible.Thanks.

Usually nylon cord with a metal D ring. Insert handle of leash into D ring. Pull handle through to form a loop. Fit loop over head. Pull handle to tighten.

Is that from that guy's blog post? I think I've come across a thread on 8chan where it was decided that no one knew what the hell he was talking about regarding the ring.

Anyone whose taken an animal to a vet and been observant should be familiar with the nylon cord with D ring.

If your gonna use a metal ring from a dog collar leash make sure it can support the weight of your body ..

I'm sure you knew that already, you probably didn't know the name , as I found they have ankle straps with metal on .

You MIGHT be able to use a light weight ring and cord for seated partial from a door knob.
Loop over neck, wrap cord around knob, lean forward to tighten.
Not sure if the angle would be right.

Ill test it out. I usually try partial from a door knob, because I can be reasonably comfortable and have a blanket around me to keep me warm. I think the D ring would be an improvement on my current method.

Have you ever gotten to the point where you almost passout ?? Iv tryd many things as ligatures ,ropes, scarf, belt , and all iv ever gotten was the build up in my head ..But then again someone said I prob didn't have the position of the ligiture right and I wasn't applying enough pressure/which I think is true..

Yes, (last winter) but someone else was tightening the ligature for me.
I havent been able to replicate alone yet, but Im still trying.
Angle hasnt been right, but Ive been using inferior materials due to lack of time and money to purchase anything different.
My last cord was nylon but too stretchy...needs to be more firm.
I leaned into it and heard threads pop..not good.

I have 2 of these ropes for backup depending which will work the CO method or partial..But now looking at the rope it doesn't seem very strong for partial.

As someone with knowledge of ropes and knots, I have no idea what the guy who originally posted the ring method was talking about. The physics of it does not make sense in any way.

Wait, what?
I think it's like this but she's saying in the seated position,I think not sure . But the girl in the video has a ankle strap around her neck and it has a ring on attached to another metal piece.
