An update on the OFCOM situation: As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. OFCOM, the UK’s communications regulator, has singled out our community, demanding compliance with their Online Safety Act despite our minimal UK presence. This is a blatant overreach, and they have been sending letters pressuring us to comply with their censorship agenda.
Our platform is already blocked by many UK ISPs, yet they continue their attempts to stifle free speech. Standing up to this kind of regulatory overreach requires lots of resources to maintain our infrastructure and fight back against these unjust demands. If you value our community and want to support us during this time, we would greatly appreciate any and all donations.
I am been struggling to sleep and have been taking nytol to help me sleep.
I take more than 3 every night even though the packet says take one.
When i wake up the next morning i feel even more tired and withdrawn.
Can sleeping pills become addictive
I think you maybe answered your own question. It sounds like you're taking too much, so you're having that hungover feeling as a side effect. Try following the directions.
For me, they were. I had to stop them when I was pregnant and my doctors (psychiatrist and obgyn) were paranoid about the pills affecting the baby. From the moment I stopped, I could not sleep well and no other medication worked, as the drs wanted me to take OTC sleeping medicine. They did not do a thing for me.
As @Manford above said, it's Benadryl which is an antihistamine and antihistamines aren't addictive. Maybe you've become dependent on it for sleep but it's not like you'll go through withdrawals if you stopped it. Benzos and barbiturates are a different story. So don't worry.
Sounds like you are developing a tolerance if you need more than the stated dose.
I'd try to find other complementary ways to achieve the same effect. They will become useless otherwise and you will have to use stronger (potentially addictive) meds to get any effect.
