I would not try it myself because I know oxidation can happen. but im unaware if it would make it pointless or not? hopeful for better answers below

I think it lasts a bit but I'm not sure. If you do it watch out that no one drinks it accidentally.

I think I'll just make it when I need it and drink then honestly. I don't want to mess up. I still have to go outside though.

So back when I used to work in the supplement/vitamin store, I used to sell everyone and their mom "shaker cups" (easy up sell). It's just a cup with a fitted lid that won't leak and a little ball (usually made out of metal) inside to help disperse and dissolve whatever powder you put inside. Some of them even come with a little compartment that screws on to the bottom of the cup to store the powder. You could get one and have everything you need pre-measured in the cup. The SN should be fine since the compartment is air tight.

the answer is No, it's not recommended. it would unfortunately oxidize into sodium nitrate (changing from NaNO2 to NaNO3) which is nowhere near as poisonous as sodium nitrite.

"Sodium nitrite is hygroscopic. This means that, when exposed to air, it will absorb water and slowly oxydize into sodium nitrate, silently degrading over time. Oxydization will render a sample of sodium nitrite innefective as a end of life agent. Evidence of deterioration can be difficult to determine by visual inspection."
(The Peaceful Pill eHandbook)

I imagine that while being in water, this proccess happens more quickly, but PPH doesn't mention that particular situation and I'm not an expert in chemistry, so that's just my guess, but after the container's seal is broken, it will eventually oxidize into sodium nitrate indeed.

Being in a fridge will slow the oxidization into nitrate by a few hours. You might have a three to five hour window of opportunity to use it in. That's not long and I wouldn't risk it.

I've seen some conflicting info about this.

In this post, members state that the oxidation process happens slowly. Have also seen people say they've kept it mixed in a water bottle for days, but then some claim it happens within a few hours.

🤷‍♂️

no problem! I've seen a number of people on here that have wanted to transport the sn somewhere and then take it and just thought about it. The cup I posted actually even has two compartments so ideally you could have two doses measured out separately and then just have an extra bottle of water with the 50ml premeasured into that too.

Never thought of using a shaker for SN, but it makes a lot sense lol
