Can I drink SN after eating?

So I'm pretty much at the complete breaking point of my life. I have SN and I really just want to drink it now but unfortunately I ate dinner a few hours ago. Can I make myself throw up and then drink the SN? Or do I have to wait 48 hours before I drink it?
