can I do SN regime without anti anxiety pills?

just had an appt with a "medication manager" with Spring Health (it's a mental health provider that my employer provides). And I am just trying to ask for some xanax or valium. Told me that he can't prescribe any controlled substance. After may 11th, the emergency ends, and you have to see someone in person to be prescribed medication.

And I asked what kind of medication can he prescribe. I just feel very anxious. And he said well, we have to talk about what heppened to you. Bitch, I don't feel like talking about it. Then he said then we just have to end this appt.

I guess I just have to do it without benzo? Can I take nyquil with it? or benedryl with SN? nyquil an benedryl make me very drowsy. So would it kinda achieve the same thing?

you technically can, but it's just more difficult because SI is very strong. a lot of antihistamines are secondarily prescribed as anti-anxiety medications, such as hydroxyzine. benedryl is a step down, but can still provide some calming effects.

don't start weed out of the blue. it has different effects on different people.

what i would do in your scenario is be honest with the provider, but don't expect xanax or valium. those meds are only prescribed in severe cases after you've been on other meds for awhile. docs don't like prescribing them anyway because they're addictive and you get used to their strength very quickly.

that depends on how much you're already taking and if you have a tolerance to it. as for when, i don't know. it typically takes effect in 30 min and reaches its peak at about 2 hours. it doesn't kick in immediately like the heavier stuff
