Discussion Can anyone truly live without depending on others?

An open question to everyone here.

I'm wondering if anyone knows someone who is 100% independent in terms of their life, mental state, etc.

Someone who is happy, gets by in life, and doesn't depend on anyone like a therapist, significant other, or friend for their physical and mental needs.

I don't think I've ever met someone like that ever. Maybe monks but they usually have their monk friends.

This is a great question. I don't know of anyone. I wish I didnt want help, care or love life would be a lot less disappointing.

mhh i live alone with my cats. no friends except a few people from here on skype.
never had a gf and never will
or do you mean really complete? like growing own food and living in a hut somehwere in the woods

Yes and I want that. But I can't I have to live here with my partner who as zero understanding of bipolar! Arghhhhhhhhhhhh

I always wanted a log cabin far away in the mountains somewhere. But I also wanted a dog for company and a horse for transport.
