Hi,
I don't want to go into too much detail about my plan I've been lurking here for about a week and although I have worked out much of the abbreviations used I wanted to ask my questions.
Previous to discovering SS I had been reading LAH. My original plan had been drop hanging and I had managed to work out exactly the materials I would need to, length of rope, the knot, length of drop and how to secure it to take my weight. I did toy with the idea of inert gas bag but was conscious about buying the gas 1) the fact that balloon gas seeems to be now mixed 80/20 2) I know nothing about welding and purchasing a gas canister of either helium or nitrogen would have only drawn attention to things; The very last thing I want is a trip to hospital having been medically trained I know only too well how bad the drugs are and the overall treatment of patients, plus it would be delaying things and increasing trauma.
So after reading about the N method I did some some research and before I resort to the rope I want to explore that possibility. Unfortunately I don't want to risk customs so I am thinking about going travelling and staying somewhere for a while and await a delivery that wouldn't have to be inspected.
So:
'A' has been referred to as a reliable source, would travelling to the US be the safest way to await a delivery?
Is PPH worth the cost to be able to facilitate such an arrangement?
