Hello! I'm looking to get a gun, however a few months ago I was 5150'd and signed a document that prevents me from buying a gun. However from what I have read on the internet there will be sellers who are somewhat lax about background checks and such... What do you think? Is there a chance of me getting a gun?

It does, depending on the state. Retail sellers at gun shows do require a 4473 though.

It also needs to be stated that even though blackpowder doesn't require a 4473, that doesn't mean that it is legal to possess for those who can't fill one out (e.g. felons) so that is something important to keep in mind.
