As some of you already know in this forum, I am a web programmer so I am quite informed about the trends in that topic.

Chrome is taking a lot of popularity, I've always used firefox, mainly by habit but also because it is open source and supposedly safer than chrome, but lately I'm having problems with firefox that make me consider migrating to chrome.

What browser do you use? Why?

I love Google. I believe they mean only want the best for me. So that's why I use Google Chrome.

I'm also in university getting a degree in IT Security.. so yeah. I still trust Google Chrome.

I'm using duckduckgo for browsing here, it doesn't track and has a burn button to burn the session at the end. I use Chrome for general browsing but find it probably gives biased results as well as censorship.
I use Firefox on the PC and have done for a number of years. I don't trust Google, they have too much power online, it's like since when did Google own the Internet? They got kicked out of France when they decided to electronically archive rare books without obtaining permission and also damaged some in the process. Google are not a force for good either, that's how I see it.

I only ever use Chrome, but it almost seems a shame not to use Firefox in light of their new logo.

I use chrome. If I don't even bother removing this site from my internet history, why would I bother to use another browser? Besides, I like browsing this site on my phone when I'm not home so I've thrown all privacy out of the window.

I use safari. It's the default browser for my device, same goes for on my laptop. I like it and am happy with it, probably best browser I've ever used.

Firefox on PC for many years now. Too bad it's a sinking ship with chrome becoming such a fast browser and it takes away users from ff at a high rate.

FF on mobile i'm not so happy with .. went back to chrome even though it's a privacy sieve. I'm also becoming less fond of google as it pretty much rules the internet these day's. If it keeps going on like this google will rule our lives in a few decades (so to speak).

Mainly firefox. I can't remember the reason I switched to it, I think there were less glitches or something. I use google chrome for one of my classes though because of an extension.

Thats a good statement of yours! I believe Google means primarily what's best for THEM, then their business customers [focused on 3-letters customers] and then the rest of 'customers'.
Ergo - you must be working for Google then!

Firefox from the very beginning of it - so I cannot be objective.

Right now Chrome is my primary, mainly cos it supports some great adblockers and my excessive anti virus software.
Firefox is great too though and always keep it updated.

Chrome, used to be Firefox due to privacy issues with Chrome. These issues persist, but Firefox slowed down to a crawl at one point and I couldn't fix it. Downloaded Chrome and haven't looked back since.

I use Firefox primarily, but I have two Chromium-based browsers (Brave and Vivaldi) installed as well, because so many websites are now only compatible with Chrome.

I won't use Chrome proper, though, it's too privacy invasive; if Google wants more of my data, they need to work a bit harder for it, I'm not going to just give it to them on a platter.

I use DuckDuckGo too. Google censors what comes up in searches more.
