anyone experience this odd head sensation? I'm honestly not quite sure if that's what I'm experiencing but I suddenly stopped taking my medication without my doctor advising it
feels weird and it comes randomly

edit: I'm downplaying the whole experience because I'm actually really not liking what's happening and I'm sitting here crying

Do you have any left so that you can slowly titrate down instead of cutting it off all at once?

Yeah, that's something that can happen when you just stop certain meds. That's one reason doctors try to taper people off them. I've read fish oil suppliments can help it go away.

paxil and seroquel

I know exactly what you mean by brain zaps. You can't just stop some of these meds cold turkey. You need to reduce the dosage gradually. Please do this properly, your brain is experiencing withdrawal and it can get worse.

Another option might be to just restart your meds. How long have you been off?

Get back on the meds and talk to your doctor about reducing the dosage. Been there, done that. I know it's not easy. It's easier to want to quit and stop taking the meds.

Ok, what I'd do is call the doctor and explain what has happened and what you're experiencing, and they'll tell you what to do.

Don't worry, you're not an idiot. This kind of thing happens a lot. I'm very guilty of forgetting and quitting important meds, and then the depression kind of takes over and prevents me from fixing the situation until it's really bad.

I know what you mean by brain zaps. I also get them when I miss a dose of chlorprotexine or sometimes even randomly. The odd thing is that I find those zaps kinda enojyable? Maybe I am just strange.

Oh yea, every time I try to come off meds, I get the dreaded brain zaps. Completely normal side effects, you should taper down instead of going cold turkey.I'm finally past that.
