A depressed 18 year old boy disappeared from Utah around 5 years, the only habit was watching animes. His parents didn't like that so they would switch the Wi-Fi at night, he would go and connect it when his parents were at sleep. They discovered it and weren't happy. He had good grades. Just loved his animes. One morning he leaves home left his wallet , phone, backpack and all his clothes behind. Hasn't been seen for around 5 years. They looked everywhere in Vegas. No sign of the boy, they had teams all over the hills and terrains . The boy just vanished. No one ever heard from him again. His mom paid to keep his cell phone for a year in hope he would call. How is it possible at this age and all the technology available that this boy just vanished. In the beginning they focused on the parents, but they are innocent. All because the boy watched many anime movies. It's on YouTube.

I remember reading about that. I don't know why parents always want to go down the punishment route when they know their kid is struggling.

I don't understand the hate against watching animes. I posted a thread asking about similar animes and another person butted in and said that I should get more healthy habits. I don't understand that, and this person who butted in also literally watches far more anime than I do. Its like 24 minutes a week, what's so unhealthy about that?

I don't understand parents that want to take away something their child enjoys. Terrible, controlling behaviour. They wouldn't like it if it was done to them. People are hypocrites.

Too many parents feel entitled to control and abuse their children as they please.

A disappearance is the hardest on the parents emotionally, as there is no closure.

Some CTB methods involve disappearing. When I was a teenager I came up with a plan involving taking a small boat far out to sea. As long as the body sinks, it should disappear. Something about the high water pressure of the deep ocean does this. Apparently there are no human remains in the wreckage of the Titanic. Just lots of old pairs of shoes with no one in them.

Let me guess, the parents will pretend to be the victims here. Parents drive their children to suicide and then ask what went wrong. Or they blame communities like SS for their failure as parents.
