  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

Any books with philosophical insight on suicide or death? Can be philosophy essays, novels, non-fiction, whatever.

There's a great thread that's currently active where we're discussing the Stoic perspective on death and suicide. The second page is when the discussion gets meatier and reading resources are shared.

Thanks, that's a great thread. Glad I got to read it before dying.

Final Exit has a lot of good philosophical takes on death. It's not so heavy on the viable methods, but has a lot of advice regarding making up your mind, preparations to be taken, and things to be considered

This is a great subject!
I am currently reading Metaphysics of Love | Metaphysics of Death, by Schopenhauer. It's an incredible book, but sometimes I feel like I've been punched in the stomach, it's raw reading and maybe for some it's even a little painful. I'm loving reading.
Note: The book is in my language (Portuguese).

These are all decent books for the beginner afterlife researchers who are open-minded, reasonably intellectual, and of course... not religious fanatics peeps: 0FF0D482 0713 4E83 BA35 863E35C3D842

NB: I'm not getting paid by the author of those books. I bought the Kindle version myself!

Is there an English translated version of the book? And is it available in Kindle version as well? Thanks!

I'm sorry, unfortunately I didn't find the book translated into English. Only in Spanish and Portuguese.
