first of all, im new here so sorry if my post doesnt conform to some norms on here.

the idea for my death for the longest time has been getting drunk, taking a shitload of pradaxa, and cutting into myself. while lurking this forum realized that its a very unorthodox thing to do given everyone here tries to overdose. hence, can someone explain any potential flaws in my protocol, and/or point to what dosage of anticoagulants im looking at to ctb?

Cutting is very rarely successful attempt n terms of suicide (1-4%) however I am not sure there is data with attempts using anticoagulants.

cutting? thats the most inefficient way to bleed out, blood thinners or not. even if you focused somewhere with a specific artery in mind, the reason the attempt usually fails is because of the severe pain and brutality involved in getting deep enough to actually reach that vessel, not necessarily because the blood loss isn't enough. im assuming you mean with a standard razor blade. you'd need to get past fat and then layers of muscle. i've heard of people trying something similar but with stabbing, though it has a similar room for error due to anatomy + survival mechanisms hindering you subconsciously.

Hey there....so this is my new go to do it, death by exsanguination. I don't have a sharp knife to cut into femoral or carotid arteries so radial artery it is at the wrist. I have aspirin 75 mg. I have been able to cut 4mm down the skin pretty easily though very slowly. So I'd say it's not difficult when you do it when you're that firm and non-chalant about hurting yourself. Or else pls don't cut yourself it is really very mentally agonizing other wise.
It's already pretty hard to locate the artery with full consciousness itself, doing it drunk you may severe any tendons or nerves causing permanent damage. Blood thinners well I heard a higher dose can cause more bleeding. But it has some risks so I didn't buy. 75 mg is the lowest dose for aspirin I suppose. If you cut a good area and successfully cut along the artery, you can lose huge amounts of blood. But remember arteries spurt out blood it literally sprays like a jet. And cutting more as it spurts on you might be difficult. Also you don't need to be found for more than an hour or else you can be rescued and brought back to life. Take care
