Best rope to hang? What about the satin belt of my kimono bathrobe?

Would the satin belt be luke a neck tie... Longer .. I'm worried of using a thick rope with 2 twisted strands, like the ropes to decorate. Seems silky but might not slip to choke. I read I need to add soap? Would a 1 inch satin 2 layer bathroom belt be good enough? Only partial or full suspention too?

I read no nylon rope, why? Told to use climbing rope but aren't they nylon?

I'm scared. But my own tongue is chocking me all day from a reaction to stuff in my home, the bath maybe. Since I ruined it with acid cleaners, natural vinegar my ass... It can turn into varnish remover if mixed with who knows what.

The SI cannot be eliminated, only controlled.
The 1 or 2 belt is fine. The smock belt works too.
I think you do not need to tie a belt since the pressure of the neck works as a knot.
People use everything... scarves, sheets, cables, etc.

So far I rehearsed partial with a satin bathrobe belt. I don't understand the double belts.. for longer or double hanging?

Mmm the doubles exert more pressure. If it is difficult for you to use them, the long rope is still fine. Try to practice with both. You have to feel as comfortable as possible.

Imo partial is easier to overcome SI than full suspension

True. SI allowed me to test partial. But chicken out. Does it counts as an attempt if I didn't pass out and told myself I just wanted to see how it felt? I crave it every morning.

I literally used the strap from my silk kimono robe. I passed out but I woke up and the rope was untied. I don't know if I unconsciously untied it or if it simply unloosened on it's own. I personally think it unloosened on it's own.

Too silky? I'm devastated... What is your plan? I don't have a leather belt and don't know how to tie the other end... I should buy a climbing rope?

I don't really plan to try the partial method unless it's a back up plan.
