Best place to aim gun?

What is the best place to aim a gun on yourself? I've heard of both putting it inside the mouth and behind the ear being effective. Is one better than the other? Or is there a different position to put it in that would be more effective? Curious as to which one results in least failures and/or is the quickest to result in peaceful death. Thanks.

The video that @theboy provided is a great resource. Ideally, you want the projectile to pass thru both hemispheres of the brain, to increase chance of death.
