Help best music/tv shows/films not related to romance or breakups?

Any form of good media to consume that doesn't involve people falling in love or breaking up? I'm still struggling to cope with life after my ex discarded me and I want no reminders of romance or heartache. There's music that plays in my dentist's office that constantly plays love songs which increases my suicidal tendencies even more and I have to avoid social media posts about people dating or I'll begin to start thinking about giving up on life entirely. I'm not looking forward to dating again either because I don't want to risk getting abused and/or abandoned again.

Video games such as Minecraft and Among Us has helped me so much, but I would love to explore other things that don't include couples starting a family or getting a divorce.

Video game? Runescape, lmao. Just cookie clicker in mmo form. It's really not for everyone though.
Not sure about tv shows or films, since lots of them do have that.
And for music i'd say look into instrumental music, like EDM, or metal subgenres (death metal for example) if you are into that. I personally listen to a lot of american rap that has nothing to do with love or feelings, i know many people hate it but it helps me take my mind off of things because i know how seeing love everywhere can affect you when you feel that way, i'm the same.

I personally listen to a lot of american rap that has nothing to do with love or feelings, i know many people hate it but it helps me take my mind off of things because i know how seeing love everywhere can affect you when you feel that way, i'm the same.

Yeah, I've been trying to get into first-person shooters or war games because so much media focuses entirely around getting a romantic partner and starting a family with them when all it does is bring me feelings of sadness, anger, jealousy, and frustration. (Especially witnessing the abuse my mom went through with my dad, it's hard to see love as anything special when it brought me so much pain)

I'm not too hopeful about finding love either since this world glamorizes the idea of ghosting, cheating, discarding, abusing and other shitty behavior towards their partners. I don't mind people making media about it, but I feel like it's been shoved down my throat everywhere I go and I can't escape it... they show the positive sides of love but never the downside of it. That's why most movies are a no-no for me. Video games on the other hand. let me escape and give me so much power in how I can control my environment without real-life problems getting in the way, like I can build a happy farm in Minecraft and be distracted by the world around me instead of shitty men trying to ruin my life. I genuinely would've ctb a long time ago if it weren't for them.

I can relate to this SO much when it comes to the love part. It hurts so much. I'm sending you many hugs, i absolutely hate when media shoves that romance stuff down everyones throats like... why are they even doing that, show something else for once. I get sad even when i see characters in movies kiss or do anything romantically

Also speaking of minecraft, if you ever get bored of vanilla, i'd sugest looking into modpacks! I forgot to mention that, there are some that are really really fun, depending on what you enjoy doing.
