Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Heard 'no surprises' by Radiohead the other day and was struck by how well the first few verses describe my depression:

"A heart that's full up like a landfill,
A job that slowly kills you,
Bruises that won't heal"

Do you have anything in art that describes your depression better than you can?

Probably "fade to black" from Metallica.
"
Life, it seems, will fade away
Drifting further, every day
Getting lost within myself
Nothing matters, no one else
I have lost the will to live
Simply nothing more to give
There is nothing more for me
Need the end to set me free
Things not what they used to be
Missing one inside of me
Deathly loss, this can't be real
I cannot stand this hell I feel
Emptiness is filling me
To the point of agony
Growing darkness, taking dawn
I was me, but now he's gone
No one but me
Can save myself
But it's too late
Now I can't think
Think why I should even try
Yesterday seems as though
It never existed
Death greets me warm
Now I will just say goodbye
Bye..."

Oh, somewhere to share the analogy i came up with while having a conversation in my head! Hooray!

" I feel like i'm a car that won't start, and has no idea where its going "

Someone described it as you feel like you're wearing a weighted blanket and your world is upside down. But when you're with other people you have to pretend like they aren't all standing on their heads… and that takes so much effort just being around people is exhausting

It's not poetic, but honestly the most accurate description I've ever heard.
