Help Best Alternative to Dying by Firearm

I just found out because I have been put in an involuntary hold, I won't be able to buy a gun cause I won't be able to pass a background check. I don't know what to do, I still really want to die via firearm but now it seems like that might not be an option for me. My creative lil mind is like maybe I could try to source one privately somehow or find an army man near me and use his (sorry to traumatize you soldier but I gotta do what I gotta do) this really dampened the relief and good mood I was getting close to having. PLEASE I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO

i am in the same situation which is why firearms have been taken off my list :/ the only thing i can really think of is buying one off the street but that poses so many risks its not even worth it imo .

you may not like this but encouraging you not to act in the moment. Think this through, give it several considerations. You can always plan something out after careful consideration.

I'm sorry, I am literally so distressed I finally thought I had found the solution, even made a post about it. I don't understand why states insist on keeping people who don't want to be alive from killing themselves. Like will you provide resources or help to address the underlying issues of our suffering? No of course not just keep us alive so you can profit off our misery thanks.

I stay in transitional housing through my local mental health facility it's a decent little house I guess I don't know.

i absolutely agree with you !! i think they offer mediocre "resources" as a liability issue. nobody can be legally held responsible because they "tried to help" . but they genuinely dont care. its all a plot to make money and profit off people who are desperately trying to survive throughout this mess. i almost want to go to canada because i heard assisted suicide for people diagnosed with BPD has been approved. im not necessarily sure if thats factual but the fact that somewhere would allow me to go peacefully as i deserve, makes me have a little hope that theres a way out :/ im sorry you're in distress. i know that feeling all too well. anything that makes money will prevail unfortunately!! thank god this website exists because i would truly be so lost without it

i absolutely agree with you !! i think they offer mediocre "resources" as a liability issue. nobody can be legally held responsible because they "tried to help" . but they genuinely dont care. its all a plot to make money and profit off people who are desperately trying to survive throughout this mess. i almost want to go to canada because i heard assisted suicide for people diagnosed with BPD has been approved. im not necessarily sure if thats factual but the fact that somewhere would allow me to go peacefully as i deserve, makes me have a little hope that theres a way out :/ im sorry you're in distress. i know that feeling all too well. anything that makes money will prevail unfortunately!! thank god this website exists because i would truly be so lost without it

Depending on your location you may still be able to obtain a firearm via private sales, which wouldn't require any background checks whatsoever.

unfortunately i do have bpd yes. im sorry u relate to that as well, this disorder is nooootttt for the weak i know your pain all too well. it sucks it really does. i wonder how ill get there too. i'm like prepared to hold my diagnosis paperwork and beg for euthanasia lol im that desperate at this point . are you in the usa too? i know the "help" they offer us is a JOKE. genuinely. all they want is my paycheck lmao

Yes I am unfortunately in the US of A. I have no idea why my fucking state is keeping me alive against my will like this it feels so criminal. If you do ever make it to Canada take me with you please
