broken beyond repair

I plan on killing myself on February of next year. I already have a method which I think is efficient, I live in an 18-story building with access to the rooftop and I'll jump off. I'm doing this at 3 or 4am to lower the risks of anyone seeing me and calling the cops.

However I know it's gonna be hard to gather the courage to actually jump, I've gone to the rooftop before and it jumping off of it looks terrifying. I seriously dont want this to be what holds me back. I'm thinking of taking a mix of benzos and alcohol to decrease my fear when I do it, would it help?

If that's what you want to do, just get blackout drunk

That combo will just impact your memory of the time you took it. At the time, you'll be aware of things, but, assuming you live past that, the memory will be a blur. Alcohol, though, might help SI.

It's not a good plan. Use a better method. When you are drunk you might not want to jump or do something stupid that won't CTB or worse end up in the hospital.

Half a litre of Jack, 2mg bar of Xanax and 20mg of Valium here, reckless benzo use won't help in the end IMO

I did benzos and alcoho. I was doing stupid stuff while blacked out which I don't remember so there is a chance you might slip and fall down from the building without remembering anything but I wouldn't count on it.

Well, you have to factor following the alcohol & benzos with an 18 story fall.

True but don't discount the factor of making it to the roof as a given, depending on your personal toelrance

Please don't jump, I mean if somebody wants to CTV, that's their business, but all I've read about is people breaking their bones and surviving, or worse getting paralyzed and surviving.
jumping itself is really risky, and I've heard too many stories about people surviving in a wheelchair paralyzed from the neck down.
I once looked into jumping into the ocean off of a really tall bridge in seattle, read stories of other people with the same idea. Some of them died and some of them survived and even from the high jump
off a bridge they ended up breaking bones upon impact on the water or paralyzed and survived into an even worse reality.

just something to consider regarding half the method mentioned... Everything I read indicates it's brutal and jumps can go wrong unpredictably.

I've been considering changing my method lately, but I can't think of anything that would be more deadly.
