  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

I'm really terrified of traumatising the person who finds me, and that's one of the main reasons I haven't gone through with CTB yet. Just the idea of it is sickening to me - like imagining someone finding me hanging or with a gunshot through my head seriously disturbs me.

I was wondering if anyone else feels a similar way and what you're planning to stop it. I was thinking to take a train to my nearest beach at night, use an inflatable raft of some kind to get far away and then use the exit bag method with N2.

I'm ok with people knowing I died on purpose, the thought of them seeing me just really bothers me.

More likely than not you're going to wash ashore and someone will find you and it will be in a far worse condition. You would be better off doing it in a hotel and leaving a note for the staff to call the police. That's what I plan on doing.

Yeah the hotel thing definitely makes a lot of sense. I wonder if hotel staff have previous experience with people ctbing - I assume it's a pretty common thing
