Being found afterwards

Do you have a plan which includes how, when and by who you will be found? Does it matter as long as you're gone?

My method is partial suspension and i'm struggling because on one hand I don't want to be found too soon and brought back and on the other I don't want to leave a body that will upset whoever finds it. Maybe i'm overthinking this bc it won't matter to me as long it will be enough time.

And yeah, I can see where you're coming from. Wanting to find that sweet spot between dying but also your body hasn't rotted.

Yes. Someone mentioned in a prior post that sending out timed emails to notify authorities / family members is a good way to have this under control.

I don't really care since I'll leave a note for them to call police about a dead body on the door. I guess I have a lack of empathy due to ASD or something.

Will probably send out timed emails so I can control when I'll be found. Part of me know I'm overthinking this because after I'm dead I'll not care.

Not so much the specifics but my method choice was definitely affected by this consideration. There's no way I can let my family find me dead at home, it would traumatise them in such a way they might even have to move house and I can't do that.

Nice of you to think of them. I agree - much better for authorities to find/remove the body than family. I feel a slight sense of guilt but I have to do this very soon. Overwhelmed.

I know what you mean by overwhelming. All I can do is continuously remind myself that its the only way and why

It is the only way. Making the descision is easy but getting everything in order, planning, preparing method all while in the blackest depression and desparation is causing constant trembling anxiety like I've never experienced. I feel trapped and claustrophobic & need to get out quickly.

Its the moment when you realise you're in the final moments. It takes almost a meditative state to try and calm the anxious nausea.. At least for me. Funnily its because I'm most afraid of being caught before I succeed, if that fear weren't there I think I'd be good to go.

Depending on where you live you could get a muzzleloader. That's what I'm using since I am disqualified from buying a shotgun.

Some jogger or dogwalker will find me hanging under the bridge (or my back up tree), probably early the next morning. I'll have the relevant information and contacts in my bag, for the "authorities" to deal with.

Do you know whether Boomerang is quite glitchy? I remember reading that someone on here used it and it sent the message earlier than they thought it would. I figure that's probably more of an uncommon occurrence, though.

My body won't be found for a couple of days. Two days, most likely. I highly doubt three. My dad will find me, unfortunately. But, I don't have anywhere else to go to take my SN...so it's going to have to be in my room on impulse. No chance of survival though. Once I drink that, I'm all done.

FWIW: I intend to inform the local sheriff/coroner via a delayed email --ideally.

I do not use Google, so can't use Boomerang.

I can't get Thunderbird to work on my computer, so I can't use their version of Boomerang.

I've had bad luck with TimeCave for delayed emails: they saw my come-get-my-body note to the sheriff after I had deleted it, post-failure, and tipped the sheriff. I got a welfare check the next morning (talked my way clear).

I'm now using LetterMeLater, which seems quite reliable and private. I boogered a deletion after my last fail, but it didn't cause catastrophe, and it was my fault, not LetterMeLater.

My current double-back-up plan is:

1) delayed-delivery email to the sheriff, via LetterMeLater, scheduled to arrive about 10:00.
2) a note taped inside the mailbox for the mailman to find (remember to raise the box's flag so he knows to check), asking him to notify the sheriff. Mail is delivered around 11:00, so if the sheriff gets the email first, they can remove the note before the mailman arrives (original email mentions the note in the mailbox).
3) a very, very good friend has said that if he gets an email titled "Sorry", he won't open it until noon (giving me a chance to send him a cancellation email if I fail (again)). In that email will be instructions for him to contact the sheriff.

I'm going to be jumping out of my balcony( I live on the 7th floor ) so I guess it'll be my family that has noticed I was gone and since it's winter it gets dark quite early so they will probably find me on daytime or the person on the 1st floor will notice my body.
I don't think too much about what will happen after I die, I won't be there to experience it anyways neither will I have consequenses
