Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

I've come to the conclusion that this is probably my last Xmas.

In terms of methods I'm thinking Beachy head. I'm uk based but don't live close by. Just wondering how easy it it to avoid the chaplains. Do they operate 24/7? I know they treat people on their own as suspect.

I just want it to be pretty instant. I hope beachy head is high enough (about 400 feet).

Just wondering if anyone else was think beachy head too?

About 15 years ago I read a book ("Cliffs of despair") about the suicides at Beachy head. If I remember correctly only 1 or 2 persons who had jumped from Beachy head survivied, so it is possible, but extremely unlikely to survive a jump from Beachy head. I don't know about the chaplains as they are probably a newer development? However, if you have the means to travel outside of UK I would recommend having a look at pulpit rock in Norway. It's a lot less known as a potential suicide spot and a lot higher than Beachy head. From a personal visit I can say that it's a really nice place and there are certainly no chaplains disturbing you at pulpit rock.

There is another thread about Beachy Head, i was there a month or so ago and the Chaplains are walking around during the day and have a 4x4 with searchlights etc for dark trips. i was able to get right to the edge and look over, no one stopped me. just have to not drink in the pub either looking sad or lonely or they do call them in apparently. I think it is totally possible if you just walk and throw, i am certainly thinking about doing it from there.

I went there recently too...yes they are around the Beachy Head Inn but not further along towards Severn Sisters , The Cuckmere Inn etc...the area of jumping is huge....or Tiger Inn , East Dean....more towards Seaford than Eastbourne...we could all go .....it certainly is high enough , at Severn Sisters for sure

I do drive. Don't live near though. Takes about 4 hours. I've been once before a few years ago. A pretty place but can't remember the chaplains. I'd want to jump from the part that would most certainly do it.

The issue with the chaplains is massively overstated on here, being on your own is fine. My advice is to take a backpack, possibly a cheap camera or binoculars. As long as you're not stumbling around drunk near the edge you'll be fine. I was there last year but could not get my SI down. I saw several chaplains and they said hello, a quick friendly chat and that was that. It really is not a significant problem at all.

Jumping is a possibility, I'm just shit scared of doing that or jumping infront of train, UK is more limited with ways to ctb, it sucks.
