I have seen many people saying that using sleeping pill to ctb is a myth: OD on sleeping pills gives you unbearable stomachache, and it won't kill you. But recently I've found out that modern day sleeping pills are probably not the same as the "sleeping pills" that people used to ctb in the "myth". For example, the sleeping pill that Marilyn Monroe and many other old generation Hollywood actors use to ctb is actually Barbiturate, which is basically N. Do doctors still prescribe Barbiturate sleeping pills? I assume this would be a lot easier to swallow than liquid N.

I dunno if they prescribate Barbiturate sleeping pills but I can tell you that I tried to ctb last year with an OD of 100 sleeping pills and anti-depressants (lorazepam, clonazepam, sertraline, risperidone and aripiprazol) and I ended up in a 2 day coma with a f*cked stomach for about 2 months! (And my life was hell for 6 months because I lost my freedom)

That's what I'm worried about.

From a quick search apparently yes, but it sounded a bit rare. Probably some safety emetics in there as well since we live in slave-hell-world.

I don't think that's a thing anymore
This is just so cruel. Regular sleeping pills don't work very well for me anyway. It either can't make me fall asleep or just make me sleep for more than 12 hours.

I'm really sorry about what you went through.

It would be wonderful if I can get a prescription of that.

Forget about it. Such prescriptions are only given, if they are given at all, in extremely rare circumstances.

I think this is the reason they stopped prescribing barbiturates.

Shame really.

The company that bought the rights to Seconal, a barbiturate sleeping-aid and end of life drug, stopped producing it because they didn't want euthanasia organizations to use it to give people a peaceful death.

What an asshole! No wonder even Dignitas only use solution instead of pills. If Euthanasia organization can legally give people N, then what's the problem other than their own agenda? I guess evil does exist in this world.

I've heard seconal is really easy to synthesize and only needs cheap and easily obtainable ingredients, dk how though

I wonder if there are barbiturates available on the dn markets. I think I saw phenobarbital (often confused with pento/nembutal). Unfortunately phenobarb is not a good peaceful option IIRC. Slow release tablets and prolonged suffering. I forget tbh but the details are in the handbook.

I'd be very dubious about it but if its that easy to synth secobarb I bet one of the chemists on the DNet could do it. There is one mentioned in the PPH that used to sell powdered N. They no longer do but they do sell other things. If I were inclined I might consider asking them to synthesise it but its a murky old game to be playing with and there are many thinga to go wrong.

I agree though,...it would be wonderful to get old of some barbiturates that aren't as challenging to imbibe as vetinary N.
