I'm 19 from England and I live with my mum.
Basically when I die I know that my mum or dad will get my money even if I haven't done a will.
But the problem is I've bought things that show up on my bank statement that I don't want them to know about.
Will they have access to my bank statements and see all the things I've bought?

Any money you have when you die will automatically go to the next of kin.

I doubt that your parents will see your bank statements once you're dead unless their is some kind of official investigation that compels the bank to hand over statements. Not that I understand why you should care about such petty stuff. I doubt that anything that shows up on your bank statement could be that embarrassing.

Sorry to hear this is troubling you friend. If it is that critical have you considered taking legal advice?
In the scheme of things, I doubt checking the particulars of your spending will be too of your parents to do list if you CTB.
Good luck friend

They will inherit the money in the bank account, not the account itself, so they will not have access to your bank statements.

The replies here are contrary to what I've observed from a relative passing. The relatives of the deceased did obtain access to all the transaction history. Normally I think most parents won't go through your transaction history and only unless they're trying to trace if you had other banks that you transferred funds to that they were unaware of existing.

I guess each circumstance is different but i would say in the UK anyway you don't, unless you specifically ask for them , my brother died two months ago and i just sorted all his accounts , pensions , car , utilities etc account numbers and gave them to a solicitor to sort out and cancel , mum and dad never saw anything . OP is young and lives at home so circumstances will be a lot different and i`m not sure why they would request them anyway , when i sorted my brothers possessions out i found all his password for everything even his pin for his bank card but i never looked .

Its to my knowledge that when you die in the UK, if you have money left in the bank, it stays there, as its illegal to take money from a deceased persons account.
I know that has some truth to it from when ive worked in call centres and talked to family members of deceased people.
Unless you have made a will the money will stay in your account. Thats what ive been lead to believe anyways.

not true as my brother died suddenly and did not have a will , working for the council (refuse collector not an mp) and dying while on sick/or at work you get £60k off them , he had a further £20k in other pensions and had £12k in bank ,as i found him i had to deal with it all and handed all his finances over to a solicitor and it is getting split 3 ways between his kids from 2 marriages including the £12k he had in bank... we also informed the DVLA he had died and got his car documents changed over and sold it , the proceeds going into the pot for his kids

If they've lost their child I think the last thing that will be on their minds is giving a shit about the porn you bought whilst alive. Your parents will not care, if they even bother to look at the statements in the first place
