Backup plan for if the firearm doesn't work

My first thought was popping a cyanide pill just before shooting, but apparently cyanide is a controlled substance that's extremely difficult to obtain. I just want to make sure that if I somehow mess up, I'll still die from something else. Even if it isn't totally painless, it would be better than being "rescued" or bleeding out. Any other ideas?

Ethanol and asprin interfere with blood coagulation. SN is fatal after consumption.

It's uncommon to combine methods, I've considered firearm paired with jumping or drowning. When it comes to jumping I wanted to do it off a 33 story high rise. And with drowning, it needed to be cold water.
