''Suicide is New Zealand's silent epidemic. The country has the highest youth suicide rates in the developed world – five times that of Britain and twice as high as Australia.''
I just read an article about the suicides over there, I didnt realise the numbers were so high.
As someone severely damaged (tortured) by psychiatric medication. I know over prescribing is problem there. The side effects include depression anxiety suiicdal thoughts. And this description does no justice to what can happen in body brain.
Our suiside rate is really high for some reason. I have no idea why though. We always come out well in quality of life and liveable country type lists (not that that is the only thing obviously).
Does anyone have a link to this story? I'm interested because it's my country.
