The girl who I want to be my wife,
Do you remember the lake during the winter?
The time when I was walking all alone,
Across that frozen lake,
I saw the tree line and the horizon and the other side of the tree line,
You were standing on the shoreline,
Watching me,
As I fell into that damn cold lake,
Freaking out,
You were the girl who bolted through the woods,
And ran straight to the cabin in the woods,
And saw your Dad and your cousin Tim Gale,
You brought the sled and as I managed to walk across the lake while drenched in cold freezing water,
I fell down at the end the path as I saw you three coming towards me,
You put me on the sled took me back to the cabin in the woods,
And placed me next to the fire place,
And if I remember correctly you were sitting down in front of me,
You were always there you never left my side,
You stayed with me until I got better thank you for saving me,
And I mean if you were always there and I never was or maybe I was you are my shadow and I am yours wherever we stand in the light we will always be there for each other.

Ashley just saved my life too. Two end tables on clearance for $85 a piece. I'm usually not one for furniture stores but I can't argue with that. Hope you feel better OP.

I should've guessed Ashley was an American store lol
I'm from the UK so our furniture stores are called boring names like "Oak Furnitureland"

The Brits are more reserved I suppose so it might make sense. I do relate to OP though, as he was discussing how Ashley baited him in a previous thread, and this store almost baited me into financing a $900 sectional sofa. Pricey, but would likely have been worth every penny now that I think about it.

I just might. If he's cool, he won't mind me getting ripped off by way of horrible interest then throwing out my back as I try to lug it up the stairs. I mean, I'd like to think we're tight like that. I feel kind of bad for laughing at this thread now. Thanks @brighter
