Are there people who have schizophrenia who do not hear a voice?

In any case, the life of a person who suffers from schizophrenia lives (like people with autism) a hell, at best, the treatment can improve the living conditions, if he accepts this constraint.

However, it's still drugs, and therefore a profit for big pharma, there are forced hospitalizations, stigmatization, rejection, being labeled crazy by others... when no one asked to have this disease.

And, what saddens me, is that no one will have the right to suicide or to be euthanized, without a long and complex process, to see a lawsuit, if the person only has mental illnesses (in the country who legalized VAD and euthanasia). However, everyone should be entitled to VAD, to be euthanized, whatever the reasons, if you are firm and determined, no one asked to be born after all.

I knew a girl who never had hallucinations, but who is diagnosed with schizophrenia. She spent a year in a psychiatric ward. She is also diagnosed with encephalopathy caused by hypoxia due to a failed suicide attempt in the past.

Some people hear voices that are not schizo related. there have been mediums who are clairaudient. They can communicate with disincarnate entities. Sometimes those entities can and do offer help. Sometimes its more like possession.

You can experience hallucinations for every sense so there are definately people with schizorphrenia who don't hear voices

I don't really know. I'm not a psychiatrist so I can't speak for them.

I've been diagnosed with schizophrenia on the basis of two psychotic episodes I had. I've never had any auditory or visual hallucinations.

Antipsychotics, olanzapine in my case.

Antipsychotics, olanzapine in my case.

I take resperidone which is an antipsychotic. Have doubts abt having schizophrenia. My psychiatrist insist on treating my dissociative symptoms and doesn't care about the actual diagnosis. Is it wierd? I don't hear voices but i do have psychosis symptoms from bdd.
As far as i know resperidone usually prescribed for bipolar or schizophrenia.
