I want to have a row of lobe piercings like Miki Berenyi of Lush

and I think bridge piercings look cool too but I don't think I would get one I feel like it would reject

also surface piercings are pretty cool but they would be a pain to live with (getting caught on clothes, rejection, scarring, infection)

smiley piercings are also cool but they don't last long and I would be afraid to accidentally swallow the jewelry

gauges and tapers are cool too
but now that I am older I am not that into them or want them anymore
(they feel very late 2000s and early 2010s to me for some reason I don't know why)

• I've always wanted ear piercings all the way down my ear (so I can do the rainbow hoop thing) and/or an industrial bar, but I wear headphones all the time so those would just get in the way.
• A split tongue
• Some sort of dermal implant or something. I like the look of people having shapes under their skin.
• WAY more tattoos.

I have:

• Two sets of ear piercings in lobes. First ones are stretched to 00G (10mm). Second ones are normal size (14-16G I can't remember).
• Belly button piercing (top)
• Nipple piercings
• 3 tattoos

oooh split tongues are pretty cool but you'd also have to relearn how to speak and eat I think

I can see the vision with the mods you have in mind reminds me of a cool reptile

if I were ever to get an implant for some reason I would get a snake so then I can do the funny moving/flexing tattoo thing but with an implant like sailors would do with traditional tattoos where they flex their bicep to make a animal move or a pinup lady dance

Nipple piercings

these are pretty/cool (I couldn't have them/I am not very brave) but isn't there also a risk of losing feeling/sensation ? I have always wondered this so I had to ask
(you don't have to answer since it is probably a weird question for someone to ask although I didn't intend for it to be weird)

Earbuds don't get in the way but my ear canals hurt after a while so I have to switch to headphones. It's ok. I'd rather have my music.

I researched it. It usually takes a couple weeks and then you're back to normal. Although I read a blog of someone with a split tongue who was sad she couldn't lick the peely yogurt lids anymore.

You can lose sensation, it is a risk. My sensation just... changed. It's now inside where the piercing is instead of on the skin. Also hurt like a bitch. Definitely was yelling swear words during and then sat shirtless on the couch not moving the rest of the day.

I have 3 lobe piercings in each ear and a bunch of cartilage piercings. I also have a few tattoos. I want to get my septum piercing and nostril piercing redone in the future but have no plans for new piercings. I also want to get tattoos to cover up a surgery scar on my chest as well as some stretch marks on my thigh but I'm not in a rush.

I have 7 piercings in one ear running from my lobe to the top of my ear, plus my tragus. On my other ear I have 8 running from my lobe to the top of my ear, plus my conch. I also have a nose piercing as well as my labret and a single snake bite on the left side. I have 3 finger tattoos, one on my wrist, ankle, back of my shoulder and my bottom lol.
I don't know that I'd get anymore piercings, though maybe a second nose piercing? Tattoos are a maybe too though I have no immediate plans.

I am shocked that many people get belly button piercings/naval piercings these days considering that a large number of the population (exaggeration and from observation) didn't know that you must wash the naval/ belly button as a part of normal hygiene

if you liked American Mary and the theme of body modification in horror or disturbing films I would recommend the film Crimes of The Future

Although I have yet to watch it the concept/plot is fascinating
in summary basically everyone goes out of their way to get surgery on purpose kind of like a fetish or drug or at least that's how I remember it (they even had a promotional suture kit for the film which is awesome !)
