Antiemetics are important, they get the SN to the small intestine as quickly as possible and prevent throwing up.

There are a few reasons people fail:
They threw up enough and didn't take the second glass
They didn't use a good brand ( DONT use PC or Reagent Inc!)
They didn't fast
SN wasn't pure or was nitrate
They didn't take enough for their weight

From what I've seen on here I would say the main reason people fail is they don't follow the instructions and believe they have a better idea. Despite the fact their experience is zero and the instructions are given based on observed data.

It seems to happen in many forms. Wrong quantities, wrong or lacking medication, sipping instead of drinking. Take your pick really.

Honestly, if you have a second glass ready and actually drink it if you vomit after the first glass (which is a lot easier said than done) then I think your chances of success are pretty high. Vomiting doesn't get all of it out of your system and you most likely don't need a huge amount in your system for it to be fatal.

Most of the failures arise from using a bad substance or being found/calling for help.

AE just makes the process a lot easier, would you rather be able to just take one glass, keep it down and deal with the symptoms of ~25g of SN or be put in the position where your SI is making it difficult to down a second glass and have the unease of not knowing how much SN is actually in your system, which could worsen your side effects?

But no I wouldn't say a lot of the failures are caused by a lack of AE, it just helps as a comforter. If you vomit without a second glass your chances of success are reduced though.

My method that I will execute this month is hanging, but I've been considering SN lately as well. What are the calculations for the SN amount again? I weigh around 86kg and am 184cm tall.
According to Wikipedia, the median lethal dose LD50 is 180 mg per kg body weight. Median lethal dose has a 50% chance of ctb. So you'd do 180 x 2 x weight in kg then divide by 1000

Even with one glass and ae u still vomit! Lots of people do. I haven't seen a thread on here where someone's taken ae and after first glass they didn't vomit. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Is it possible you could break this down in American terms like I'm 5? I weigh 135 pounds, how many grams would I need?

135 pounds is 61.235 kg.
180 * 2 * 61.235 = 22044.6 mg to "safely" ctb.
So that's 22.0446 grams to "safely" ctb (assuming I didn't make any errors).
