I am so excited. There should be no red flags. I have a squeaky clean record. Not even a ticket. No mental health records should be out there.
I've kept a low profile since I've been a hermit most of my life. They say the application should be finished within 30 days and the card will be shipped 1-2 weeks after that. After that, a 72-hour hold after I try to purchase my gun.
I know it's too early to get excited but I am already feeling different after taking my first step. I am so glad I have a place where I can say I'm excited.
If everything goes right, and I get the gun in my hands, I might celebrate before I start planning.
It will be more than just a shotgun. It will be me taking control of my life, wresting it away from this world.
