What do people here think of the ending of the series? Gotta say it was hard to watch, because all I kept thinking was that I so want that final door to be real. It almost hurts how much I would want that option. And everyone in the show was so supportive of taking that option (yea I know they were already dead and for awhile). How many of you would choose walking through a doorway of oblivion if you had that option?

[Also, sorry if this should actually be in suicide discussion I wasn't sure]

You know, it's funny... I watched the finale last night. Throughout the whole thing, I was reflecting on my own end. It was very emotional for me because of that. They managed to strike a lot of chords in that one episode because of how I was feeling about my own life.

(I don't like it for an ending of the series, though. I wasn't ready for it to end.)

Agreed. I am glad though that they ended it before it got bad (often the inevitable for beloved shows)

It's extra funny, because right before that I watched the Christmas episode of 911. They had a ridiculous scene that involved methemoglobinemia. Relevant because I'm planning to use SN. But it was stupid, because they did it all wrong. They just magically had methylene blue on hand to give the girl and everything. Anyway, it made me wonder if that kind of death is on the radar now.

That's wild. I also don't remember that, but I'll have to go back and watch, it was likely before I decided sn was my choice. That does make you wonder...especially since the end sort of promoted the need for pro choice ultimately...
