I suffer from debilitating anxiety, to the point where it's become fysical and downright unbearable. Is this drug someone with experiences with will recommend against chronic pain (This is for a short period of time) I am terrified of meds so would never abuse it in any sense.

sorry that you're hurt, physical pain is so exhausting, i can relate :(

I'm in no position to recommend since i just started taking it, but i can share my experience ^^ :

I was prescribed 20mg daily oxycodone, but i take just 5/10mg depending on the level of pain. I reduced the dose due to the side effects.

it manages to distract me from the pain since it induces a sleepy feeling and drowsiness, unfortunately I do notice an effect of hangover the day after, feeling of heaviness in the head, difficulty formulating speech, similar to a brain fog. but its different for everyone, not everyone get these side effects.

Another side effect i have, is a rush of emotions, sad ones in my case it could be related to the euphoria opioids cause, They can also be addictive and cause withdrawal symptoms down the line hence why the doctors hesitate prescribing them (understandable).

for this reason I take diclofenac potassium (cataflam) most of the time, its also a potent pain relief/ant inflammatory not as potent as oxycodone but more than the other classic pain relievers, i don't think it is addictive. it does require a prescription aswell tough. here in europe its so hard to get meds that require prescription.

Have you consulted a doc? is there any meds that directly target GAD? forgive my ignorance i just started getting into the pain relief meds
I hope that a Doctor can help ease your pain 🤗

You take oxycodone for anxiety?

This medication only as needed for sever pain it's not a therapy or antibiotic. You're not suppose to take it more than three days unless you have chronic illness like stage 3 cancer, sepsis, AKI, etc

Benzos for anxiety

Opioids (e.g. oxycodone) for physical pain

Both are very addicting and every person who ever abused them said they would not.

The behaviourally reinforcing effects of opioids are stronger than any fear you could possibly have of medication unless you literally have PTSD from medication in which case you wouldn't be asking this question in the first place.

Opioids can turn someone needle adverse into someone who is needle fetishistic very quickly, for example. People who never in a million years thought they would enjoy needles.

The brain is like any other organ; free will is neurochemically contingent and drugs target the brain's primary decision-makung hardware; especially for those whose decision making hardware is already dysregulated, such as those with pain; emotional or physical.

Anyways, if you decide to anyways, let me know and I can answer any questions you have. I studied psychopharmacology and the behavioral psychology of addiction as part of my degree/research.

It would probably help with the pain but opiates come with a lot of drawbacks, the worst of which is addiction risk. Have you tried naproxen sodium for your pain? It is the only OTC pain med we have found that helps with our chronic pain. We just can't take it as we get nearly every OD symptom even taking half doses. (Some damaged genes that affect a lot of meds.) It took our pain from frequently crying in pain to manageable for the duration we tried to get past the other effects we got from it. It does take a while to be effective though. It takes a few days to build up and start to help and then you just take it regularly.

Nono, I take other meds for anxiety. Just looking for something that might lessen fysical pain! 😊

true, mental states can sometimes cause physical manifestations.
But to get a prescription for oxycodone you will have to convince the doctor.

I was given oxycodone for a pelvic fracture caused by a cycling accident. Took it for 5 days, it barely helped the excruciating pain. I had no side effects apart from terrible constipation. This was so bad that I stopped taking it and preferred to endure the excruciating pain for the next 7 - 8 weeks. However, I have to admit that it did put me in a better mood.

Finding oxy on the street is very rare. You could find it on the dark net though.

99% chance that whatever you buy on the street will just be fentanyl. Dealers will tell you what you want to hear though.

No worries about that. I have a trustworthy vendor. Would never EVER buy things from the streets. But thank you very much for your contribution to this 💛 (this is an important subject to bring out into the open )

My gut reaction to this, is to think if this was about 5 years ago, you would have had a much easier time finding it. However with all of the crackdowns and lawsuits, you have most doctors unwilling to prescribe even this class of drug much less this specific drug. Which also means there is going to be far less on commonly avaliable no the street as well, Also the above post is correct most of it is cut with fetanyl because its cheaper and caueses the experiene to be more intense, it has increases your likelihood of OD, which I guess is a complicated point considering the forum.

But I agree, it's wired. We are all real people here. And that makes it both surreal and complex to even grasp. At the same time. ❤️
I pray that you will fiend your way out of this shithole. ☀️

I have the feeling for some pains opioids, even strong ones dont work. After my spine surgery i got morphine liquid and stopped taking it because it seemed to have no effect on the pain... In the end it's just endorphines.... I guess the greater the natural lack of endorphines due to pain the less they stop the pain... Before my accident tilidin worked quite good... After that not anymore as i have more pain causes know...

Cannabis helps me with some of the pains, but some get worse... For neuropathic pain it works great... As pregabalin or gabapentin (this is also an anxiety med!!! )
But if you have the option, give it a try...
Metamizol and diclofenac might also be worth a try...

is a small line between addiction and dépendance.... And the consequences of constant chronic pain fucks up your life too... So maybe taking meds is not that bad... Even if it's opioids... I hate that i switched my opioids for cannabis and now i am left only with diclofenac and non deadly

If u want you might check for a good pain specialist...

kratom is a painkiller like an opiod and it's legal. I order it online and there are many legit sites. It's a ground up plant from southeast asia.

yeah, it tastes pretty disgusting though, very bitter plant powder. I mix it with as little hot water as possible and add a ton of honey and chase it with something. It's like weed and has diff strains. White, red, green. White can be a mild-stimulant, red is more like a sedative, and green is like a mix of both.
