I've been listening to Future garage since a few months again, the tunes sounds like from another dimension, especially on Psychedelics or Empathogens..
I also listen to other sad Music, and i can't remember a time where i didn't enjoyed to listen to melancholic, sad or just deep music, but due to current living situations it hits completely different. it somehow gives me relief to listen to future garage, especially artists like skeler.

What kind of "Sad" music do you listen to? Would be nice to hear what your most Favorites songs, which might fuel your suicidal Ideation or even motivate you in that direction but gives you relief. Maybe we even find some cool tracks, we haven't heard of:)

When I was teenager, I used to watch a sad movie, followed by a sad song on repeat and cry my heart out.

My favourite combo was Edward Scissorhands and Creep by Radiohead.

Almost the whole catalogue of Elliott Smith ? ...

He was someone so insecured, full of discomfort, you could relate to his wide open cracks.

Too bad he's gone young. Can't be hugged anymore

I haven't been able to listen to music for a few months now. It's too painful. Music has been my one true love my entire life and now I don't even have that.

Actually, 46 & 2 is about evolving to become something higher in nature. Surviving you darkest demons to become a stronger and more evolved person.

I've been listening to a lot of Silent Hill music, lately. Akira Yamaoka and Mary Elizabeth McGlynn gel together so well, and I relate to the lyrics almost perfectly.

I've always kept Scandinavian black-metal from 1990-2000 close to heart. Bands like Dark Funeral, Satyricon etc.
Never been keen on the satanic elements in the genre but the music speaks to me on other levels.
I'm also prone towards classical music, mostly Bach and Wagner.

I listen to "Last Unicorn" by America. It has a simple, plaintive melody, but is very deep and depressing.

The song basically about the world dying, along with the last unicorn. I might listen to it while I CTB.

Been a Smiths fan since I was a suicidally depressed teenager in the '80s.
Still haven't outgrown them.
Also a big Nick Cave fan, and I used to listen to a lot of Red House Painters, but gawd... they're too depressing even for me these days.
Oh, and The Cure. Disintegration is a masterpiece.

Rough translation of chorus (word for word, mild adjusting)
---
And if in the pocket is a pack of cigarettes
This means not all is bad today
And a ticket to an airplane with a silver wing
That, upon takeoff, leaves only shadow on the ground
---
With all respect to the members, I see a lot of "my ENTIRE current life sucks". I argue that no, maybe 99.99% of your life sucks, but there's something that doesn't.
Even though I kinda took the Sith way of thinking - in absolutes, I think that quote is misinterpreted.
Absolutely all of epilepsy sucks, regardless of frequency of seizures or their caliber*.
This, in turn, makes absolutely all seizures "painful"**, and absolutely all seizures make me want to die, regardless of caliber.
However, there is a time, however short, that I am not in pain, be it "pain", or normal pain. This cannot be argued.
Incidentally, my smokes are my pack of cigarettes - a thing that I can use to make my life ever so slightly less shit.
Unless it's a nicotine overdose.

* A caliber of seizure is it's strength - if I were to poke your ass with a needle, it'll hurt to some extent, but ripping your arm off will hurt more. Poking your ass has a lower caliber of pain.

** I've tried to find any fitting description for "pain" for about ten years now, primarily for neurologists to understand why I'm doing weird noises way after post ictal. I still can't.

I couldn't read the Cyrillic writing in the video title---it's probably the name of the song. And it's interesting how it mentions cigarettes. I smoke very heavily just to cope with feeling sad. For a few minutes after I finish smoking a cigarette, I feel just like the artists says: that "not all is bad today". Sadly, nicotine is a short-acting drug, and any mood boost quickly passes.

Victor Tsoi - pachka sigaret (Russian)
Victor Tsoi - pack of cigarettes

Yeah, find me a Russian or Ukrainian that doesn't keep themselves stable without some form of substance abuse, I'll find you the next pope! :pfff:

Heck, I'm American, and I drank as much in the past 3 months as I drank in 3 years before the Corona quarantine. About the same for smoking too. :heh:

Lost and afraid of the world that surrounds me
I constantly let down everyone around me
My heart it glows, my soul it floats
I stay awake cause I can't breathe
When demons haunt me in my sheets
Have you ever felt like you were dead?
Like nothing feels the same so you just lie in your bed
Light a cigarette, put your woes to rest
I'm a fallen angel baby, I'm not like the rest

I love dark and heavy music, mostly metal and synthwave, and luckily both genres have a lot of moody and depressing songs. Lately I've been listening to Carpenter Brut's newest, Blood Machines OST. In addition of being awesome, the two last tracks Grand Final and Gone Now are quite fitting too to someone who is planning to ctb.
