Anyone know a good alternative to tagamet?

I'm buying literally everything I could possibly need for the sn method. I'm finding it hard to source tagamet. Anyone know of a good alternative or can pm me a place I can buy tagamet please? Sorry for so many threads today but I am going soon and have a lot to sort out, Thanks

Famotidine, which is the active ingredient in PepcidAC is a biosimilar to tagamet. Obviously its not as strong as tagamet, nor as fast acting, but when taken in a high enough dose, and given ample time will get the same effect.

If you do go down this route, get the tablets and crush them up to decrease the time it takes to have any effect. Stay away from the chewable type.

Using atacid is not recommended anymore by PPeH, so dont worry about it.

Stan actually recommended an antacid like Milk of Magnesia, which should be OTC everywhere. But considering it was optional to begin with AND is no longer recommended on PPH, I'd just drop it entirely.

I tried to source tagamet from local online pharmacy and it didn't show, however cimetidine is available, they are all the same with different generic name just like nembutal and pentobarbital.

Anything with famotidine like Pepcid ac, Nexium and Prilosec will also reduce stomach acids.
