You have been practising. How is this working out for you? Try Harm reduction sites for IV drug use. These sites explain uses of tournequets, angle, veins to use. This help? Respond if you need any more info.

There are some lectures videos on youtube but I never practiced, so I can't comment much

Consistently hitting the vein is not a problem, but knowing for sure that I'm actually in is. I know that when you get in the skin, there's resistance, and then we hit the vein it's more loose with less resistance
