Anyone here have experience with Xanax?

Hello, I have never taken Xanax or probably a benzo in my life. I am able to get my hands on Xanax from some of my connections. They come in 2mg pills. I was wondering if anyone could share their experiences with Xanax, how much they took, and what you guys would recommend for a first dosage. I know that it'll vary from person to person the effects of it, but I would like to hear other's experiences with it. I am planning on going with SN, so I'm hoping as some people have said, taking benzos would help and it would help you go to sleep to avoid any potential problems that may occur with SN while you're still awake, such as seizures, etc.

I was prescribed benzos for over a decade, namely Xanax. 2mg is a heavy dose - it comes in 0.25, 0.50, 1mg and 2mg. I'd suggest trying perhaps a quarter pill as a test run prior to your method to gauge your reaction to it.

I have panic disorder and only take it during "emergencies".
For someone like me who doesn't take it much, 0.5 grams calms me down, but 1 gram or more knocks me the f out.

This is absolutely true. Are you getting these from a person *prescribed" it or fake pressed pills? There's a big difference.

I took 1 gram one time, layed down, then suddenly woke up 2 hours later not knowing what happened.

Most likely fake pressed pills. So cutting it a quarter might be a bit hard to do...

I took 1mg on an evening and woke up the next day. Shit if i hadn't lost that stolen pill bottle (or gotten some prescribed), i wouldn't have gotten into this miserable situation.

As for lethal dose of fent, let's just say "not a lot", but pressed pills vary widely so there's no telling what/how much is going to be in them. Just as a random note, fentanyl killed Prince and this kid too:

For anxiety 1mg 3x a day but started on 0.50mg 3x a day. I could see splitting one of the presses to get approximately 1mg as a tester. As others have said, 2mg is a high dose - pressed or real. Last time I took any, 2mg knocked me out hard for almost a day. It really depends on the person though which is why I suggest testing it first.

I took some black market Xanax a couple days ago. It didn't seem to be kicking in so I ended up taking 6 x 2mg pills. I don't really remember what happened next. Blacked out. It looks like the cleaner has been here but I don't remember at all. Hopefully I didn't make a fool of myself by acting fucked up.

I took a xan yesterday around 10:00 and listened to music for like 15mins and woke up around 18:00 not remembering anything besides the fact that i was preparing to die. Wish i did not wake up though. Xans will knock you out in less than 20mins so be prepared.

I don't know the dosage I took, but it was just one + alcohol and I woke up late afternoon the next day. Others had half-roused me and moved me to my bed while I was blacked out.

Benzos + alcohol will put you OUT, friend. Highly recommended.

I have no idea, it's been impossible to get a prescription for any benzos since I began pain management. Even before that, I couldn't even get a psychiatrist to prescribe a mere 5 pills. Always that busperione and such crap, which isn't helpful for sudden, all consuming panic attacks at all.

This makes me think my psychiatrist is on crack. I've been getting 90, 1mg pills a month for like 3 years now.

Hell I can take 4 mg at a time and still stay wide awake. You guys that fall asleep are lucky.

That might be because you've taken it for so long you've developed tolerance for it.

Tolerance. Back when I was prescribed it for many years, 2mg did nothing after long term use. 90 x 1mg is pretty average for a prescription. Could you ask about an increase? Sounds like it's time after 3 years.

Oh I know I've definitely got a tolerance for it now. They won't increase me though because of all my other medications for my seizures and nerve conditions. I basically just use it to mix with my ambien and flexeril at night so I can get a few hours sleep. It does nothing for my anxiety anymore.

I haven't been prescribed Xanax (not too popular in my country) but have been prescribed Valium, Klonopin/Rivotril, Ativan and Serax/Serepax at various times. Generally doctors are happy to prescribe it if you are only taking it occasionally rather than everyday. You don't get issues with tolerance/dependence that way.

No. You'll black out for longer.
