  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

I think it's because I can understand arabic, and these have no musical instrumens so the appeal is fully lyrical and poetic, i basically spend the whole day listening to them, a lot of them are not on Youtube so i had to dig a lot to find them, a lot of them are also emotionally moving and melancholic, i just find it funny how i am an atheist-ex mluslim, yet i still enjoy a lot of them, i will link one of the ones that i like below, although i can't imagine listening to these if you don't understand the language.

I like listening to Surah recitations and ruqyahs.

They don't really relieve me of anything deep, but sometimes they help me to sleep.

The opposite- raised muslim but I really dislike listening to Nasheeds (also can read/speak/understand Arabic ^^). I'm also ex-muslim but still pretend since I live with family. I think I'm just not a fan of the spiritual/religious undertones in Nasheeds, and I don't find it any different than music even though many muslims say it isn't music.

Yeah! I used to have a playlist on my old spotify dedicated to them, but sadly a lot of them were taken down.
