Not being able to sleep since March I tend to have a bit of a headache much of the time. Not severe pain, but enough to be annoying since it's so frequent. Headaches are not on my list of 25 reasons to CTB though.

The worst days will trigger a migraine and symptoms from that will be around for a few days before and after. It's not constant though.

I have medication from the doctor that works pretty well.

Somewhat yes. Mental illness can cause lack of sleep, lack of concentration and high anxiety amongst many other things. Symptoms of mental illness can cause headaches, feeling sick. My family call it a "stress head" .

I have almost constant headaches for months now, together with joint aches, feeling lightheaded and dizzy most of the times. I have grown so used to it, that I actually notice the absence of any of that much more than the presence of the symptoms.

Yes, I have pretty much constant severe head pain/headaches that make me feel as though I am intoxicated. It's terrible and definitely one of the main reasons for CTB bc it absolutely destroys quality of life and the ability to enjoy anything. I have this from brain damage tho not because of mental illness.

I have a lot of physical symptoms from depression and anxiety. I easily meet criteria for fibro, me/cfs, POTS, etc. all from issues due to my mental health but don't qualify for the actual labels since the symptoms are caused by depression (and don't really need the labels tbh because it wouldn't change my treatment options anyway). I do have migraines as a separate thing but depression makes them worse. That said, some of my depression meds have mostly cured the migraines.

Ketamine treats both pain and depression. You could look for ketamine clinics in your area. The IV is $500/mo and nasal spray is $50-80/mo. The new FDA-approved version Spravato is $10 with their coupon.

Ive dealt with mental illnesses for pretty much my entire life and chronic headaches ~5 out of 7 days a week since puberty (approx 15 years). Unclear whether they are directly related as i have other untreated physical health problems as well. Many days the headaches alone are enough to make me want to ctb

I doubt very much depression is causing your symptoms. Instead it is far more likely your physical problems are causing or feeding your depression at a truly physiological level. This bullshit attempt to convince people that every ailment is down to depression just gets imbecile doctors off the hook, they can tick their box blame it on depression and cart you off as some anxiety case.
POTs has overwhelming effects on the autonomic nervous sydtem; your fight or flight response for example. It is a true physiological condition which often results in extreme adrenaline dumps in order to restore a reasonable level of blood pressure. All the symptoms look like an anxiety attack but it is not this; it is truly physiological. You may be extra sensitive to all sorts of external stimulus which can provoke an overwhelming autonomic response. I have POTs. They tried the fibro nonsense crap on me but fibro is made up bollocks for ' I don't know what you have got'. Fibro has no disease modifying treatment options so is another cop out. I discovered the agonising burning and muscle pain was actually small fibre nerve damage linked to Sjogrens disease. This is a leading cause of POTs by the way. It can also cause low mood as it can impact you cognitively.
I'm very paasionate about this hence the long boring lecture. I hate seeing so many people fobbed off. I feel certain that so many mental health issues are related to a body wide physical disease that impacts the brain. Yet, there is no clear way to measure this at this time in many cases. It seems the easiest thing in the world to attribute a mental health diagnosis to someone.
