I had a slip knot on both ends of the necktie. The thinner end of the tie went around the door handle, and the thicker went around my neck (knot on the back center of my neck). I read in another post that it's better if the rope is thinner rather than super thick, so next time I try I will put the thinner side around my neck and thicker on the door.
I read a lot more about this after I posted and found the medical terms for what happened to my face. I had petechiae on my entire face, a little on the neck, and subconjunctival hemorrhaging in both eyes. This can all happen when you are feeling the head exploding sensation and I think I read somewhere that it's because I am closing off the jugular artery rather than the carotid. I feel like it's hard to target just the carotid... is it possible?!?! Idk..
I want to try getting a longer rope or something and tying it to the door knob and swinging the rope over the door. I think this might be able to target/isolate the carotid b/c the rope will be right under my jaw.
