I fucking envy animals. Especially pets that are taken really good care of. Imagine being a spoiled cat and having to do literally nothing all day but eat and not run away. No school, no work, not having to deal with bullshit small talk everyday, not even having to leave the house.

You said it: pets that are well taken care of. Many animals are abused and neglected sadly and they can't protect themselves or speak up.

If I had the choice I would have rather not been born but that's just me. To me life seems entirely redundant and full of pain and risk whatever the form it takes. Except maybe one cell organisms. Anything with a developed nervous system is basically f***-ed.

Canada Goose kicks their 1 year old male chicks out of the group, and they have to find a male only group until matured.
Meerkat's alpha female kicks their daughters out to protect herself's political position. See this video:


And cuckoo birds kick other chicks out of the nest to ensure their survival:


That's about wildlife. For thousands animals in farm, their life was decided by the moment they born. Send to the slaughter house one day and killed one after one

You are an animal...and cats are nocturnal with a large territory. Would you prefer to be a prisoner, completely cut off from your own kind, never getting outside, never allowed to use the washroom when you need to, unable to get in from a storm, beaten, starved, etc. Humans really are just animals, and we believe that we should have greater control over our own lives than those of other species, but obviously, we don't.

I want to live in kind of world (picture 1) or kind of world (picture 2). Regarding earthly creatures, would like to be a city lonely crow or a wild lone wolf or the traveler's cat, it would be an interesting experience. But if I had to choose lottery or nothing I choose nothing. Most of my life, I'm concerned thought about complete annihilation, but accumulated fatigue changed my view, now I find it magnificent.
