It's just fucking noise... And the sunshine is too damn bright. FUCK SUMMER. Give me dark, cold and windy weather anytime and anywhere.

Eh I just hate the blistering heat and especially the damn mosquitos. Mornings are my favorite time now watching the sun rise and bird watching is pretty soothing compared to watching tv or something. Now I'm sounding like a lifer.FUCK SUMMER.
Maybe the birds in your part of the world aren't constantly chirping and having sex outside of your window...Eh I just hate the blistering heat and especially the damn mosquitos. don't like birds.. they poop on you
and I'm mostly in a perpetually blue state, the world feels grey even when there's sunshine so it doesn't really affect me
What bird species are around you? It's mostly cardinals, blue jays, sparrows, crows which are my favorite, etc, around here. It would annoy me after a while especially with the pesky woodpeckers.Maybe the birds in your part of the world aren't constantly chirping and having sex outside of your window...
Not sure. All I know is they like to have sex right outside of my window and chirp nonstop. What bird species are around you? It's mostly cardinals, blue jays, sparrows, crows which are my favorite, etc, around here. It would annoy me after a while especially with the pesky woodpeckers.
You damn bird lover. :Pi like the sounds wood pigeons make, reminds me of sleepy late afternoons
Well I don't know, I'm honestly happier when the birds chirp, sunshine, warmth. At first it gave me anxiety and I got depressed. Then like I began to feel good about it. I had that same reaction that people get when the weather begins to turn shitty in the fall. I was more depressed about the bad weather and feeling trapped inside. Or anxiety about car breaking down in middle of winter. It's just fucking noise... And the sunshine is too damn bright. FUCK SUMMER. Give me dark, cold and windy weather anytime and anywhere.

Maybe you live in a part of the USA where the winters are really brutal so that is understandable. Perhaps birds chirping makes you feel comfortable because it reminds you that you aren't having to deal with a brutal winter.Well I don't know, I'm honestly happier when the birds chirp, sunshine, warmth. Hellz yeah, man. And then when they start fucking on top of my air conditioner, I have to tell them to fuck off.Birds are annoying... especially the ones that sit right outside the window at 0400...
I hate sunlight and summer in general. I like it when it's overcast or rainy. Rain just makes me more comfortable. It's kind of like listening to sad music when you're depressed. Happy and upbeat music would just make it worse, reminding you of something that you will never have: happiness.
The truth is, vitamin D does help but just a little bit.Well I don't know, I'm honestly happier when the birds chirp, sunshine, warmth. At first it gave me anxiety and I got depressed. Yeah, sweating does suck.I dont like the heat the sun brings in the summer. I hate sweating so much. I'm always ashamed when I'm sweating in public. I mean it's human but it hate it so damn much. I love bird though. The sound of them out side in trees. I don't like them inside of my home though. We had two birds that kept screaming at eachother.
I don't like all the super loud squawking either, and I do not like summer without A/C.I didn't used to take much notice of birdsong, but one of the 'joy's' of my condition is everything seems louder and reverberates through my head, making me both really jumpy and actually hurts my head. People always seem to be slamming something for example and incessant bird squawking is pretty obnoxious.
So, during summer, although warmer temperatures are kind of a plus point, I'd personally take the solitude and darkness of autumn/winter.

They can be annoying. I live in the Sonoran desert in Arizona so there isn't a huge assortment of birds. We get the usual mourning dove, cardinals, gila woodpeckers, cactus wren(state bird), greater roadrunner, gambel's quail, and flying disease bag pigeons. We have some finches and such but they are usually pretty quiet. The birds aren't too bad noise wise. It is the heat here that is a bitch. Last year we got to 122°f or 50°c. It gets hot at the start of May and doesn't let up until well into October, sometimes even later. Everyone walks around in a perpetually pissed off mood most of the year because everyone is just hot as fuck. There's no escape unless you hide in the a/c all day. The worst is when you get into your car after it being outside for a while and you cook. If your arm touches the metal part of a seat belt it's like you put your hand on a stove. So yeah, fuck the sunshine. We have around 300 days of sunlight and blue skies here. I would kill to have weather like Seattle...
That's why I whenever I need to do shopping or something, I go at night. I just can't stand the sun trying to have a staring contest with me, and all the ambience.
