One of my roommates died last night. He was a middle aged man who developed an acute illness. We had our disagreements but overall I enjoyed his company. We would talk and watch movies together late at night.

For some reason, death seems a lot less scary now.

My mom dying made me want it more than ever.

All I ever knew was that she lived an awful life, but still liked it. But when she was alive, I had no envy of her like now. That funeral, her casket, tombstone. The ground over top of it. The job the mortuary did on her. Just amazing, all of it. I want it.

More than that, I want what she's got now. Out of this.

Sorry about your roommate. I can't relate to this but sometimes I imagine heaven and being bored and lonely for decades until my friends and family arrive. So I guess if someone I knew died... I'd have the oh at least I can go visit them

Yes. I've been suicical for many years but found the prospect of death terrifying at the same time. once I saw my mum die that fear left. I'm not scared of death anymore, I want it.

I hope I will feel the same when my mom passes. She's a 62yr old smoker. She had a heart attack in early 50s and stent put in few years later. She looks frail and weak. I am scared to lose her.

I was raised in a religion with strict beliefs in the afterlife, so it kind of reminds me that I'd probably have company in hell which does make the whole idea less scary. On the other hand, it makes me feel guilty for wanting to die because our mutuals would have to deal with the whole BS twice.

I'm not afraid of death I'm afraid of the potential suffering if I fail my cbd method. Hearing that someone was successful makes me feel like the method might work.

My mom passed away peacefully. She collapsed one day and never woke up again. Doctors told us she had a late-stage brain cancer that was un-diagnosed until now.
