I live in perpetual discomfort that is driving me crazy but I wouldn't say "pain" per se. The mental side is what's truly crippling.

Chronic migraine and gerd problems, practically every day I feel discomfort and sometimes intense pain. Which gives me one more reason for CTB.

Chronic, intractable multi-dermatomal radicular neuropathic pain from my lumbosacral area down both legs for the past 21 months. It has recently worsened with treatment (treatment promotes nerve regeneration which is painful). Meds ain't really forthcoming and the dosages that are are too low to help. CTB is planned for Feb.
You should consider an artificial disc replacement for your degenerated disc and neurocompression.

So sorry to hear about your pain. :aw:Neuropathic pain is the worst. I also have it in my legs and can hardly walk straight and suffer with every step I take. The cause is still unknown. I have just been released from the hospital where they performed a lumbar puncture that did not show anything and sent me home with the worst post lumbar puncture headache. If you don't mind answering I would like to ask what kind of diagnostic procedures did you have to try to find the cause of your neuropathy? Did you have an MRI? What kind of treatment are you currently on?

I have chronic pain and fibromyalgia. I fell a few years back and that contributed to it. It sucks because doctors don't take me seriously. They insist it's all in my head and it's just because of anxiety. I'm in constant physical and mental pain...I don't live I just exist.

I suffer the pain of regret. Each and every minute of the day. That's enough for me.

Haitus hernia in the stomach, bowel issues, back pain, muscle weakness, pins and needles, aches and pains all over, numb fingers and toes for years, vision problems, headaches, vocal chords problems, sharp pains in the legs, itchy crawling skin and the list goes on. All of this getting worse everyday and it doesn't respond to any painkillers.

so yes I'm in a lot of pain...

I remember after I got mercury poisoning, after a dental cleaning that broke off a chunk of one of my 8 old mercury fillings, I inadvertently swallowed it and started getting numbness and tingling, Mdds mal debarquement (dizzy like horrifying loss of balance) and really bad side effects that I won't go into detail here.

(btw PLEASE go to a biological dentist to get non-silver (Non-mercury) fillings, and if you have any get them carefully removed... mercury vapor is released 24 hours a day... There's a reason why most of the civilized world has banned silver-mercury mixed fillings, they're extremely dangerous to have in your teeth as mercury Gets into your bloodstream, your organs, and it has an affinity for sticking on nerve endings)

I ended up detoxing all on my own, sweating out a lot of it, used shoe inserts to stimulate my nerves into re-balance), used tons of cilantro (natural heavy metal chelation) with binders to prevent re-absorption and even found an online group that specialized in detoxing mercury. I went through hell with mercury poisoning. Mercury is globally the second most lethal neurotoxin.

(fyi They also put a bit of mercury in vaccines, nice huh?)

I remember the moronic doctors saying "it's all just anxiety". I am very diplomatic the majority of the time, but I just wished I could've screamed at them, "Are you serious?! If you had the same physical suffering I have, you would have anxiety too you idiots!"

Pain is invisible, and it's incredible that there are some people that graduated from medical school and cannot even figure out something so simple as understanding that.

Pain creates severe hormonal stress in the body; it's physiological and manifests as not being able to tolerate any additional stressors from the environment.

Anxiety is a side effect & a symptom, NOT a cause or condition that exists in a vacuum by itself.

Anxiety is a ripple effect, a chain reaction TO damaging conditions/environment.

If they would make the environment more stable, safer, etc. people probably wouldn't even have other types of anxiety in the first place.

Also, Pain takes up a lot of your body's energy and when you try to work on top of pain... your endurance and stamina are more easily depleted by additional stressors.

That's why I think it's ridiculous when they send many people to a psychiatrist when in fact they're just having a normal and natural reaction to pain.

I totally hear you!

I sympathize. I have varying degrees of neck pain almost every day for many years now.

i have Vertebral subluxations that are very hard to live with. I also really get frustrated with how I've paid taxes faithfully all of my life yet The federal government could care less about providing even minimum medical care to its own citizens, I think they're the other type of domestic terrorists.

(Even though I think I should be paying a lot less tax along with everyone else for the little we get back, and I don't appreciate how the United States federal government spends about 62% of American taxpayers' money on war and weaponry instead of its own suffering citizens, but I digress...)

Not sure what country you're in, but most western European countries now have a better quality of life and better medical care system than America does. They pay basically the same amount of taxes in the end that we do, but with massively better benefits and quality of life. I know it sounds funny, but have you ever considered moving to Canada, Germany, Italy, Finland, or France? From what I have learned, there are among the best nations to have medical problems in.

There are more Americans that end up spending less by getting a plane ticket to Europe, plus the cost of medical treatment there, plus a hotel stay for a week, and they STILL end up spending LESS doing that... than if they were to try to get medical treatment here in the United States.

It really irritates me when they say America's #1... ha, really? Yeah number one in cruelty. Rudeness. Violence. So much to be proud of... I think the only thing America's number one in is the entertainment industry, movies and music. But if you need medical care and you're an American? Good luck to all of us. If you're an American reading this.

Anyway, I had kidney stones in both kidneys along time ago, I told the ER nurse to just nickname me Pebbles, LOL.

I have a suggestion that might possibly help you hopefully?

Have you tried only drinking distilled water? That's how I got to the point where I never had any anymore, plus I stopped all dairy products except for yogurt and occasional cheese. Milk is bad news as it perpetuates stone formation.

It's not much, and if it helps any, you so absolutely have every right to be upset and tired.
