Any of you ever think that you can try later?

Right now I don't really have the ideal circumstances to try and die. So, sometimes to console myself, I say "I can always kill myself next year" or whatever. I mean, it's true. I can. I don't really want to stick around right now, but the thing about suicide is that it doesn't really matter if I do it now or 6 months from now. It's nice to think that I can still do it 1 or 2 years from now if I still feel I have to.

Alot of older people are in that position they may or may not ever ctb but at least they have the option if everything goes to hell. Some people are under "deadlines" maybe they are up for a court date or something, health may be bad, forced into homelessness. I suppose there are a million reasons to ctb, for me its always been about freedom.

exactly! I can't comprehend living more than 6 months from now.

this! I believe depression can be overcome for some people. I've seen it. Make sure this is truly the last resort.
