• Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

Well. This question seems off-topic. Sorry if it is. But I'm going through shit yet again (if you wanna know why, check my previous threads, mainly the one called "struggling so fucking badly right now" or something like that. As a well.. I don't know if I should say comfort or coping song. But what ever you call it. The song I choose can be odd or make sense.

The main song is Invisible by Duran Duran

I don't really know what makes it so comforting for me. Maybe the tone of the song. Or just simply the fact it's about.. Well.. Being invisible? Being ignored? I ain't really an expert on this stuff. But hey. It works I guess.

I ain't linking it since its multiple songs you could look up.

Most of the Metal Gear Rising Revengence soundtrack.

Unlike invisible. It ain't sad. Or whatever feeling you can call it. MGRR's soundtrack is just awesome. (Depends on the music you like)
When it is at its high. It really is at its high!
My suggestions:

The hot wind blowing: Dunno why I like it. Just do.

Stains of time: the singing is pretty good actually lol

It has to be this way: c'mon man. I had to put this on here.

The only thing I know for real: long ass name. But MAN. This goes so hard.

Rules of nature: best starter boss theme I've heard.

I fucking suck at describing how these songs feel. But man. I recommend them! Even if you haven't played the game.

That is about it. See ya!

The band Daughter makes amazing music that errs on the melancholic side, and have many songs about grief and other topics related to emotional pain

I listen to a lot of Cigarettes After Sex just to feel that sad, romantic vibe I'll never have, lol. My favorite tracks are usually Pistol, Flash, Stop Waiting, and for sad story music, I usually turn to my favorite artist, Powfu. The song I always listen to is Write You Inside My Book, Laying on My Porch While We Watch the World End, And The Long Way Home.

I do! I listen to albums rather than a specific song (usually) and the ones I pick would depend. Right now are the "Get scared" albums, and "From rotting Fantasyland" by Nero's Day at Disneyland.

Used to listen to music every week, but since my longtime girlfriend died three years ago, I haven't been able to listen to music even one time without getting upset--I sure miss it, but I miss her infinitely more

I think it flip-flops but a frequent song when I'm really down is Kom Susster Tod from End of Evangelion. I just feel so heard, so seen. Like I'm emotionally being wrapped around a warm, fluffy blanket during the winter. That and a million other songs but KST stands out in my head.

Komm Susser Tod is my go-to "one step away from CTB" song, when I'm truly the lowest I can get.
Also, Almost Was Good Enough by Ohia is another one. If you look at it through the lens of it being about depression, it fits a lot. I see it as talking about realising that things are completely hopeless, you're never gonna get better, never gonna get out of this hole you're in, there is nothing left for you.

C'mon, did you really believe
