Any hikikomori/existentialist/gritty themed Japanese/Korean film recommendations?

No, I'm not a weeb, lol.

I'm just interested in the depression/hikikomori culture in Japan and South Korea and I like films and need something to watch other then American thrillers and drama.

I used to watch dark japanese or korean movies a lot but it was so long ago I don't remember any particular titles uhhh
If you'd like something crazy and fun though I suggest Ai no mukidashi

Himizu it's a Japanese film about a poor boy who is affected by the tsunami incident in Japan and he's abused and neglected by his parents and he has desires to kill himself. My PFP is acc him in the movie!!! and it's on YouTube for free it's my favourite comfort movie and the ending is my favourite thing ever

for dark movies: moebius, i am trash, mother is a whore, suicide bus, my name is loh kiwan, dangerous drugs of sex, fatal, rough play, no mercy
if you're interested in dramas/tv shows: the glory, king of pigs, sweet home, dp, death game, taxi driver, mask girl, strangers from hell,bargain, lost

most of these arent about hikiko stuff, but they're gritty, depressing and dark
