Yes, she took SN. I don't know about police but why would they do that? We're responsible for our own decisions, we don't ask anyone to do anything.

Edit: She found this site and used the method from it. She posted here as she took the SN, and police found this site open on her phone.

Not I'm not saying that, I'm just saying people say they going to suicide but they don't do it, so I jus was asking if there real cases of this website

And we can bring her atention to these people who need attention cause I think we all know how it's feel alone I this world and there's people that really have hope but they can really see it, so a little word can help that people not make a stupidity

Lots of people have died, a fucking shitload. Some people are on the brink for awhile and might have factors that hold them back and then end up killing themselves eventually. Killing yourself is kind of a big decision, no one here pressures anyone into the act which is good

I'm not really sure what you're hoping to find out Ougizh. What we're talking about is a deeply personal thing. Everybody's circumstances and emotions change. Some people may be 100% certain that they're ready, then decide it's not the right time.

People may decide to ctb but not post on here and we would never know. Others might just stop posting and again we'd never know.

Ultimately it's not this site that makes people decide one way or another. People find information and support here but the decision is theirs and they may choose not to let anyone know they're going...

He said he was going to, then came back days later, turned off the ability to see his activity, then said he was going to again and hasn't posted since. I remain skeptical.

One member a while back, long before I joined, posted a goodbye thread and another member posted a memorial thread at her request. Her name is crossed out, yet she often lurks the forum. I'm not going to out her, but if one spends enough time on this forum and is observant, it becomes clear that people do not always do what they say they do.

I remain skeptical of all ctb's except for Shaun Shatto and Callie Lewis, and even in those cases, I reserve some doubt because the media is involved, and the media are notoriously full of shit and manipulative. Even Moonicide's witnessed ctb could be a hoax, there's no possible way of knowing if she and the one who witnessed it are legit, or if the guy who was briefly a member and who made it clear he was Moonicide's irl ex-boyfriend was legit. It's the internet, people can make things up for a variety of reasons. I will always maintain a healthy and self-protective skepticism of every person I don't know well in real life.

There is no way of knowing for certain if fightingsioux ctb'd, only hearsay. You could tell me you were going to ctb and I could post that you told me, but that's not a true verification, ya know?


@Ougizh, I'm sure you meant ctb, it means to catch the bus, a euphemism for the forum being a bus stop where we all hang out until one of us is ready to catch the bus, that is, to die by self-deliverance. The term has been around since the 90s when there was an original unrelated suicide forum.

I've been on this site a long time, I am sure a lot of people have done it. Suicide is just hard and there are a lot of variables such as being found, if you post anything like a goodbye thread members can give you hope too. I have attempted and ended up back here. If suicide was as easy as pushing a button so many users wouldn't be here.

My friend, I meant it when I said I'm not being hostile. I'm being cautious. Ironically, it keeps me relaxed. I worked in IT for a long time. There isn't much that can't be traced. In the UK at least, my thoughts would be enough to get me locked up. In a hospital, but nevertheless locked up.
