Help Any advice regarding the Carbon Monoxide & SN suicide methods?

Looking for advice regarding suicide using either the Carbon Monoxide or Sodium Nitrite methods. (Leaning SN merely cause I could do that just layin' in my chair or bed no tent to set up and it would require far less supplies.) Was originally gonna go H2S but I've had others recommend not to do that as apparently it's easy to mess up and if you do you can survive w/ serious chemical burns and long term health issues so I'd rather not bother. With regards to CO what sort of grill should be used and what sort of charcoal? Would the "IronMaster R36 Pre-Seasoned Cast Iron Hibachi Grill, Portable Charcoal Grill for Outdoor Camping, BBQ Cooking Surface 13 Inch" on Amazon and Kingsford Original Charcoal work? I intend on doing it in a tent if I choose this method. Do you heat up the coals white hot before bringing them into the tent and then seal it from within? Also what would be a good "starter" to get the charcoals lit up? Would just plain old lighter fluid be okay? If I go w/ the SN method would Analytical Reagent (ACS) Sodium Nitrite 99.89% work? (I won't say what website or the seller as I know it's against the rules to talk sources on some of this stuff. I'm just asking if this particular SN would work. I imagine it probably would.) There's some sorta water or blood test you can do to test it right? Also, how do you take it? Do you mix it with water or another liquid and drink it or do you just straight up consume the powder? And aren't you supposed to take some sorta anti vomit medications (antiemetics?) or whatever so you don't puke? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Hopefully this'll be the last thread I need to make here for a hot minute.

Thank you for this. I briefly skimmed over that "Stan's Guide" and will read it more thoroughly later. SN is probably the method I will ultimately choose.

Why can't you just do both? Take SN and be in an enclosed space of CO, would the two interfere and not be successful or wouldn't it increase your chances of CTB.?

1. There is no need to double this up. Both are successful methods if properly prepared.

2. Taking SN while being around a burning charcoal grill is a major safety issue. SN leads fairly quickly (20-30 min) to fainting and you really don't want to accidentally kick that hibachi over and light the tent on fire.

Yeah but if you wanted to make sure you're 100% going to ctb it wouldn't be a bad idea to do both and I've read in the threads here that it often takes a few minutes to faint by SN so lying down while next to charcoal that's already been burnt wouldn't do anything but ensure CO enters the system as well. I don't know if the two methods would clash together and cause an adverse effect though which is what I'm wondering.

It is just that the risks will be different. As wljourney said, you faint and you are unconscious, your body might move a bit while unconscious and can accidentally knock the charcoal over, leading to whatever scenario which can happen.
You will have to think about both methods at the same time. Preparing charcoal, sealing room, preparing sn, taking meds, making sure charcoal is set, bringing charcoal in. All sorts of variables.

Rarely have people CTB with two methods here. It is an overload and both works well independently of each other. That said, people have the freedom to combine methods if they wish.

You would certainly draw attention to yourself if you are in a neighbourhood or at a camp ground.
The benefit of using a charcoal grill is that it is silent and mostly inconspicuous. It is also odourless, once the charcoal is burnt to a white hot glow. Meanwhile a generator will continue to produce gas that is rather unpleasant to breathe in.

You are free to combine 15 methods to your heart's desire.
But it is not necessary.

Focus on one.
Do it well.
Do it once.

sorry i don't. afaik briquettes are fine and lighter fluid is ok too since you have to burn it outdoors long enough for the briquettes to be glowing white and by that time all the lighter fluid is burnt already.

What vents? Are there any vents in a car I need to be aware of/block?
