I've watched plenty of Dateline and Forensic Files episodes where people have tried to kill people using antifreeze. It takes a LONG time and it's extremely painful. In one case the man was locked in his bedroom for three days in severe pain, I guess, and I think they ended up getting him to the hospital, doing a bunch of stuff to him and then he died. Not a quick and easy method for sure.
